musician • producer • engineer
Hi! My name is Andy. I'm a musician, engineer & producer in Los Angeles, CA. Originally from Houston, TX, I moved to LA when I was 18 to become a recording musician & producer. After cutting my teeth as a studio engineer & producing a handful of local songwriters, I eventually branched into the world of live music, where I toured playing keyboards & guitars with artists like Miguel, Sabrina Carpenter, Porter Robinson, Tori Kelly, LP, Kiiara & David Archuletta.
As an engineer I've recorded & mixed artists like Tori Kelly, NKOTB, Niki, Poppy, Tai Verdes, as well as public figures such as Bill Nye (the science guy) & work as a second mix engineer for Bryan Cook (U2, OneRepublic). I also work as the mix engineer for the brand Cocomelon.
In the live music world I've helped to design live shows for artists such as Chappell Roan, Olivia Rodrigo, Lainey Wilson, Tori Kelly, Nick Carter (Backstreet Boys), Troye Sivan, NKOTB, Joji & Cyndi Lauper. When I'm not working for someone else, I also write and perform my own music in my band MOXI and have an education site called Off The Grid where I teach other people how to design shows in Ableton Live. I also love to watch horror movies and drink geeky natural wine in my spare time and remain, as a native Houstonian, a die hard Astros fan...
